Job summary

Rozee is seeking a competent Medical Officer to provide quality patient care, support clinical operations, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards.

The role involves patient assessment, documentation of clinical findings, assisting consultants during rounds, managing admissions and discharges, responding to emergencies, supervising House Officers, and upholding confidentiality and infection control.

Qualifications

• MBBS with ICU experience is required.
• MCPS in Anesthesia is another option.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care, conduct patient assessments, and document clinical findings and progress in HIMS.
• Assist consultants during rounds and implement prescribed treatment plans.
• Manage patient admissions, discharges, referrals, and shift handovers as per SOPs.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure timely patient care throughout duty hours.
• Supervise and assist House Officers in clinical duties and training.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding medical conditions and treatment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, accurate records, and professional dress and ethical standards.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, healthcare quality, patient safety, and hospital policies.
• Perform resident duties according to the approved duty roster, including holidays and emergency coverage.
