Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, prepare, and process specimens according to established procedures.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and record results accurately for review by authorized staff.
• Prepare reagents and maintain, clean, and check laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow infection-control, biosafety, and waste-disposal procedures, including appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
