Job summary

ACT International invites applications for the MEAL Officer to lead Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning across BNP 3.0 districts. You will ensure reliable data, independent field verification, and learning-driven programme improvements through dashboards, verifications and beneficiary feedback mechanisms.

The role requires a Master’s degree and at least 5 years of MEAL experience, with regular travel to districts. Based in Lahore, contract-based appointment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in MEAL, monitoring, evaluation, data management or related fields.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, reporting and field monitoring.
• Experience with donor-funded development, humanitarian, nutrition, health or social-protection programmes.
• Strong MEAL planning, data-quality assurance and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and implement the programme MEAL plan and indicator-tracking framework.
• Consolidate routine data from field teams and ensure data quality and timeliness.
• Supervise field monitors and conduct regular field visits to assess implementation quality.
• Support development of dashboards, data summaries and management information products.
• Coordinate with external evaluators and ensure ethical data protection practices.
