Job Description:

We require a Mathematics Teacher for O and A level to teach at our academy in DHA Phase 8. Your job includes 16-22 hours of weekly teaching time (classes may be in-person or online). The classes are spread over 6 days and are held in the evening between 3:30pm to 8:30pm. Your other responsibilities include testing students, generating short class reports and making notes to be given to the students every week for those lectures (Other than teaching, all other work can be done remotely from the comfort of your home). Plus, occasionally appearing for educational and promotional material for the internet will be required.

Job Specification:

What you bring with you:

-- You had Physics and Mathematics in your A-level, both subjects with a B grade or higher.

-- A Bachelors degree in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering or any comparable discipline.

-- Initial experience of A-level Physics or Mathematics teaching, at an institute or privately.

-- Fluent spoken English and excellent presentation skills (This is the most important requirement).

-- You have a separate quiet space at your home for online classes and are comfortable with using modern technology.

-- Basic proficiency in the document processing software LaTeX, preferred but not required.

-- A passion for teaching and science communication. Ideally, you want to take up teaching as a career.
