Job summary

Nestlé Port Qasim Factory is seeking a Manufacturing Excellence, Safety and Environment Associate to drive continuous improvement, risk reduction and environmental sustainability across the site. The role partners with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and HR to deliver priority improvements while upholding Nestlé standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields and has 1-3 years in manufacturing or industrial safety/environment roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, OSH, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental systems and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of the factory Manufacturing Excellence roadmap and continuous improvement plans.
• Coordinate monthly reporting of Manufacturing Excellence, Safety and Environment KPIs.
• Assist in deployment of performance reviews, presentations and action trackers.
• Assist in deployment of improvement methodologies such as DMAIC, GSTD, SMED, standard routines and problem-solving tools.
• Support Manufacturing Excellence pillars with pillar structures, competence development and roadmaps.
• Coordinate capability-building activities, training calendars and competence development plans.
• Support implementation and continuous improvement of factory Safety and Environment management systems and Nestlé standards.
• Participate in safety and environmental risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Assist in monitoring compliance with legal requirements, Nestlé standards, permits and inspections.
• Support internal and external audits, self-assessments and closure of findings.
• Monitor environmental performance relating to water, energy, waste and sustainability initiatives.
• Support SHE-PM reporting and environmental data management.
• Promote safety ownership and environmental awareness among employees and contractors.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver factory improvement priorities.
• Strictly abide by WHO and Local Code in role execution.
