Job summary

TechSurge Inc. is seeking a senior technical lead to supervise a team delivering changes across payments, liquidity, and virtual account products.

You will coordinate requirements with SME/BA and oversee delivery planning, design and governance with internal and external partners. The role requires extensive hands-on Java/J2EE experience, Oracle banking product familiarity, and strong leadership in a DevOps/cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years hands-on development experience in Java, J2EE, EJB and Spring Boot.
• 6+ years hands-on experience in Oracle Banking Products like Extensibility Toolkit, OBP, OBMA back end Customizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; relevant professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of developers and implementation support engineers to delivery change in Payments, Liquidity, Virtual Account Products and impacted surround applications.
• Perform requirement analysis with SME/BA team and validate BRD clarity.
• Support demand pipeline management, solution design, delivery planning and execution.
• Design end-to-end solution including product, integration, architecture.
• Collaborate with internal and external technology partners to finalize end-to-end solution design.
• Review solution with GTB Technology solution review board and share with business.
• Finalize efforts and cost estimates with all internal and external tech partners.
• Review with Lead and Cluster head and submit to PMO for planning and communication to business.
• Ensure timely delivery of FS documents, code drops for retro, release and testing.
• Lead test execution, defect triage and resolution across testing phases.
• Lead production release planning, deployment and post-production sanity.

• Supervise a team of developers and implementation support engineers to delivery change in Payments, Liquidity, Virtual Account Products and impacted surround applications.
• Perform requirement analysis along with SME/BA Team. Review BRD shared by business and validate all requirements are clearly provided in the BRD.
• Support the Cluster Head and SME/BA team in demand pipeline management, solution desing, delivery planning and execution.
• Design end-to-end solution including product, integration, architecture etc.
• Work with internal and external technology partners to finalize the end-to-end solution design.
• Review solution with GTB Technology solution review board, post approval share with business.
• Finalize efforts/cost estimates with all internal and external tech partners.
• Review with Lead and Cluster head and submit to PMO / Business for approval.
• Finalize delivery timelines with all internal and external tech partners.
• Review with Lead and Cluster head and submit to PMO for planning and communication to business.
• Ensure and track timely delivery of deliverables such as FS documents for review and sign off and code drop for retro, release and testing.
• Supervise and Lead test execution, defect triage and resolution and all other activities during various phases of testing.
• Supervise and Lead the production release planning activities, production deployment and post production sanity.
• Raise RFCs in timely manner and compliant with CM rules and regulations, attend and ensure CRB reviews are done in timely manner.
• Coordinate go live activities with all internal and external tech partners.
• Supervise and Lead the post production warranty support before handing over to Production support / RTB team.
• Supervise and Lead post production escalation for delivered changes.
• Supervise and Ensure all activities and deliverables are inline with Technology policies, governance frameworks and guidelines.

Required Experience and Skills

• 12+ years hands on development experience in Java, J2EE, EJB and Spring Boot, JS Frameworks, Oracle DB.
• 12+ years hands on experience in SOAP, JSON, XML, Messaging, Rest/Micro Services.
• 6+ years of hands on experience in Oracle Banking Products like Extensibility Toolkit, OBP, OBMA (OBLM, OBVAM) back end Customizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science. Relevant professional certifications
• Hands on experience on Ojet framework, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Netflix Conductor workflows, PL/SQL, SQL
• Exposure to OBRH (Oracle Banking Routing Hub) layer of OBMA
• Experience in OBP and OBMA Product Installations, Oracle Product Patchset installation & Deployment
• Knowledge in OBP and OBMA debugging and experience in issue analysis and development flow of OBP and OBMA
• Should have knowledge in integration methodology with Flexcube Core for Accounting etc.,
• Ability to work in Cloud environment and DevOps tool chain
