Job description

Position Purpose and Summary

We are looking for a Manager Planning (Textile Weaving) for 1 of our clients in Textile sector

• Responsible to prepare production plan as per order status report of P.O (purchase order)
• To organize and make necessary calculations of yarn (requirement and follow up of weft, dyeing, doubling, and beams) in order to achieve production targets
• To monitor all production complains through loom data system
• To minimize and control production wastages
• Responsible for quality control in the areas of B grade, rejection, weight issue in coordination with spinning & sizing
• Strongly plan & coordinate with other related departments to maximize & maintain the production targets
• To adopt & compliance quality management system in overall department
• Ensure successful implementation of 5S in strong coordination with zonal Head
• To perform any other task assigned by HOD.

Required Qualifications

• Industrial engineering graduate or its equivalent
• 08 to 10 years of overall experience in Textile production planning.
• At least 5 years of experience in Garments specifically in terms of raw material and finished goods in Textile sector.
• Demonstrate proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the forecast process.
• Good facilitation skills are required.
