Job summary

Bestway Cement Limited is seeking a senior FP&A leader to drive planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. You will partner with finance leadership to deliver timely insights, support strategic decisions, and enhance forecasting accuracy.

You will lead a team, coordinate audits, and drive automation of FP&A processes while working closely with cross-functional leadership to deliver value across the Group.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA qualification.
• 8–10 years of relevant FP&A experience.
• Experience in listed company or Big 4 at managerial level.
• Strong financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficient in financial modelling, data analysis and presentations.
• Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for senior management.

Position Purpose

To lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function as a strategic business partner to finance leadership and management by providing timely and insightful financial information on business performance, current position, future outlook, and key opportunities and risks to support informed decision-making and achievement of business objectives.

Job Description

• Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function and ensure effective delivery of all FP&A activities.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, including planning, coordination, consolidation and management reporting.
• Lead quarterly forecasting and provide insights on financial outlook and key business drivers.
• Oversee monthly closing and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual statutory audit requirements with relevant stakeholders.
• Lead monthly performance reporting, financial analysis and management presentations, highlighting key variances, trends, opportunities and risks.
• Lead industrial and business performance benchmarking and provide insights to support performance improvement.
• Develop and manage the FP&A activity calendar, ensuring timely completion of key deliverables within defined timelines.
• Support feasibility studies, business valuations and financial modelling based on business requirements.
• Drive automation and process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance efficiency, accuracy and reporting capabilities.
• Manage day-to-day requirements for financial data, analysis and management information across the Group.
• Lead, develop and manage the FP&A team, including performance management, capability building and succession planning.
• Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders on matters related to the role and ensure effective coordination across the business.

Experience and Qualification

• CA/ACCA Qualified
• 08 to 10 years of relevant experience

Specific Requirements

• Experience in a listed company or Big 4 firm at managerial level is required.
• Strong financial analysis, planning, forecasting, reporting and business partnering skills.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis and management presentations.
• Ability to work with senior management and effectively translate financial data into actionable business insights.
