Job summary

Mashreq is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure professional for its Pakistan operations. You will manage secure cloud environments, implement infrastructure as code, and troubleshoot complex Azure-based issues across networks, compute, storage and databases.

The role requires 5–8 years of hands-on Azure Cloud experience, proficiency in Terraform, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and Kubernetes, and readiness to work night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience with Azure Microsoft Cloud.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (network, security, compute, storage, databases and Kubernetes) in Azure.
• Knowledge of Terraform & Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of OS (Linux, Windows) infrastructure.
• Knowledge of PowerShell and Azure APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure management and control plane components (RBAC, security policies).
• Experience with Cloud IaaS and PaaS; architecture, implementation and support.
• Experience in large-scale production environments; cloud monitoring and backup.
• Azure, Network, Kubernetes and OS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Patch management, vulnerability management and documentation.
• Compliance with Mashreq information security policies and baselines.
• Health checks and maintaining secure, production-stable cloud infrastructure.
• Respond to security incidents and monitor alerts using Azure Monitor / Application Insights.
• Prepare and respond to change requests; approved change execution.

Job description

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Expert knowledge of networking and infrastructure provisioning in cloud, consisting of networks, security, compute, storage and databases.
• Analyse errors in systems and define corrective measures.
• Guarantee a secure infrastructure environment as well as production stability and performance.
• Approved change execution
• Troubleshooting network and performance issues
• Work on network ACL's and routes
• Cleanup of Snapshots
• Track and update End-Of-Life Cloud services
• Work on Azure Backup and Site recovery
• Health Checks
• Fixing Vulnerabilities Cloud Security Posture (non-OS)
• Respond to alerts or incidents reported by monitoring tools.
• Check the health and performance of Azure resources using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Review and update security configurations, ensuring compliance with best practices.
