Job summary

Tapal Tea (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Associate to perform timely preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on a shift basis, coordinating with the relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The role requires a BE in Electrical Engineering with 3–4 years of FMCG experience, a focus on maintaining critical equipment, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Rotation between day and night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• BE in Electrical Engineering or relevant bachelor's degree.
• Experience: 3-4 years, preferably in an FMCG company.

Responsibilities

• Timely execution of preventive & corrective maintenance (Electrical) on shift basis with the alignment of concern department and ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintain critical equipment (Compressor, Genset, Cargo lift, UPS & Panel cooling units) for smooth operation with zero downtime.
• Record keeping, fuel management, load balancing & timing SAP order closing.
• Identify the grey areas in all utility sections for machine/method by applying kaizen to optimize plant efficiency.
• Installation and commissioning of new projects based on AOP to enhance plant capacity.
• Maintain & update spare inventory by ROL in the system.
• Analytical, problem-solving & communication skills.
• Will rotate in day and night shifts as needed.

Location: Tapal Tea Office, Raiwind, Punjab

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Timely execution of Preventive & Corrective Maintenance (Electrical) on shift basis with the alignment of concern department and ensuring smooth operations.
• 2. Always maintain the critical equipments (Compressor, Genset, Cargo lift, UPS & Panel cooling units) for smooth operation with zero downtime.
• 3. Record keeping, fuel management, load balancing & timing SAP order closing.
• 4. Identify the grey areas in all utility section for machine/ method by applying kaizen methodology to optimizing of plant efficiency.
• 5. Installation and commissioning of new projects based on AOP to enhance Plant capacity.
• 6. Maintain & update the spare inventory by ROL in the system.
• 7. Analytical, problem-solving & communication skills.
• 8. Perform regular activities, checklist and HACCP compliance.
• 9. Familiarity with plant electrical supplies, Controls Panels & deliver safety training for the development of team.
• 10. Will rotate in day and night shifts as needed.
