Job summary

National Foods Limited in Faisalabad Plant is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee QC operations, laboratories, and processes, ensuring products meet established standards and regulatory requirements.

You will lead microbiology testing, drive process improvements, and coach a team to deliver accurate results, while ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in quality control.
• Experience overseeing quality control operations and laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control strategy.

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage quality control operations, laboratories, and processes at the designated plant(s), ensuring that all products conform to established standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance protocols

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality control strategy that includes testing methodologies, procedures, and tools to ensure the accuracy and reliability of testing and analysis results
• Oversee and coordinate the execution of quality testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, ensuring that testing is conducted in compliance with established protocols and industry standards
• Direct the Microbiology Specialists in performing microbiological testing on products and environmental samples to ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance with microbial quality standards
• Analyse quality control data and trends to identify areas for improvement, potential issues, and opportunities for process optimisation
• Ensure that all quality control activities adhere to relevant regulatory guidelines, standards, and best practices
• Investigate and address non-conformances, deviations, and incidents with relevant department managers to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Develop/deliver training programs for team members to enhance their technical skills, knowledge, and understanding of quality control principles
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes, reduce defects, and increase efficiency in collaboration with other departments
• Prepare regular/adhoc management reports
• Keep abreast with relevant industry regulations, standards, and guidelines to ensure the organisation's compliance
• Set and agree on performance objectives for all direct reports and provide coaching and feedback to teams/individuals in line with good people management practices to ensure job responsibilities are optimally delivered

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with 4-6 years of experience
