Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Offshore Wind Services Technician to lead electrical commissioning and service activities of offshore wind turbines at the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm in the North Sea, UK. You will perform electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and safety-critical operations aboard offshore support vessels and turbines on a rotational basis.

Qualifications

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience with LV/HV electrical systems and high-voltage switching.
• Ability to lead technically and coordinate with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore teams in installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, maintenance and fault rectification of LV/HV electrical systems on wind turbines.
• Execute commissioning activities per procedures, risk assessments and GE Vernova safety standards.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure correct system configuration.
• Support energization, functional testing and handover with proper documentation.
• Diagnose LV/HV faults using test equipment and root-cause analysis.
• Mentor Electrical Technicians and drive continuous improvement.
