Job summary

Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Centre (PKLI&RC) in Lahore seeks a Head Nurse to lead nursing operations in transplant and specialist care. You will guide clinical practice, mentor staff, and ensure high standards of patient safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years total nursing experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC) registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical nursing operations and team performance.
• Establish and enforce evidence-based nursing care standards and clinical protocols.
• Manage staff rosters, performance appraisals, and development plans.
• Maintain patient safety, quality of care, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Maintain audit-ready nursing records and documentation.
• Liaise with senior physicians, transplant surgeons, and administration on clinical matters.
• Manage departmental resources and supplies.
• Investigate and report clinical incidents.
