Job summary

Frontier Works Organization in Nokundi is seeking a Survey Engineer to lead survey operations for a mining project. You will establish control points, benchmarks, and grid systems, and perform topographic, boundary, and mine surveys to support excavation, blasting, and development works.

The role requires BE Civil or DAE in Surveying/Civil/Mining Tech with copper mining project experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in challenging terrain.

Qualifications

• BE Civil or DAE with surveying/mining specialization is required.
• Minimum copper mining project experience.
• Familiar with mining standards and best practices.
• Ability to work in challenging terrain and site conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all survey operations for the mining project.
• Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and grid systems.
• Conduct topographic, boundary, and mine surveys for excavation, blasting, and development works.
• Coordinate with Mining, Geology, Planning, and Construction teams to support operational requirements.
• Prepare and verify survey drawings, maps, and reports for management and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, mine regulations, and project specifications.
• Supervise and mentor surveyors and survey assistants.
• Maintain proper survey records, instruments calibration, and data integrity.
• Support mine planning by providing timely and accurate survey data.
