Job summary

Deliveryhero in Lahore seeks an experienced legal leader to head the local team, update senior leadership on strategic legal matters, and drive risk assessment across operations.

Qualifications

• LLB degree required; LLM preferred.
• 3–5 years post-qualification experience in corporate litigation or regulatory compliance.
• Experience with multinational, tech platform, or reputable law firm preferred.

Job description

Lead the Lahore business team, provide strategic updates to senior leadership on legal matters, and conduct legal risk assessments across business operations to ensure alignment with organisational objectives and risk management protocols.

Formulate and manage litigation strategies, overseeing external counsel, case progression, cost management, and legal outcomes.

Ensure statutory compliance, manage sensitive law enforcement inquiries, develop compliance policies, and liaise with regulatory bodies and external partners to resolve legal issues proactively.

Draft non-templated agreements and provide official legal opinions on complex commercial and regulatory matters.

Mentor legal team members, foster professional development, monitor regulatory changes, and ensure consistent application of legal standards and operational adjustments.

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree required. Master's in Law (LLM) or relevant post-graduate diploma preferred.

3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate litigation, regulatory compliance, or legal counsel roles-preferably within a multinational, tech platform, or reputable law firm.

Sound understanding of local statutory frameworks, compliance regimes, and protocols for handling sensitive law enforcement inquiries.

Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, with excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
