Job summary

ACT International seeks a Project Manager to lead the Anticipatory Action (AA) program in Sindh, coordinating with PDMA, WFP, and government partners to mitigate disaster risks before they hit communities.

You will oversee planning, execution, and monitoring, manage resources and multi-stakeholder relations, and ensure alignment with national policies and donor requirements. Strong DRR/AA experience and leadership needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Disaster Management, Climate Change, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum eight (8) years of progressive DRR/AA and resilience programming experience.
• Experience with government institutions (PDMA, DDMAs, PMD, FFD) and with WFP/UN agencies or international NGOs.
• Experience in donor-funded projects and multi-stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the project, AA, DRR, and climate resilience activities.
• Establish and maintain coordination with PDMA, WFP, government departments and humanitarian partners.
• Manage project office, finances, staff and consultants to deliver outputs efficiently.
• Represent ACT in technical coordination forums and government meetings.
• Ensure activities align with national policies and donor requirements.
• Strengthen DEOCs and linkages with IDSS.
