About the Role

Job Title: Lead, AI Engineering & Innovation

As a Lead, AI Engineering & Innovation, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI-driven solutions within the Risk & Compliance Technology function. This role requires deep expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning, with proven experience delivering real-world Generative AI applications. This position combines hands-on technical execution with innovative solution design, leading AI initiatives that drive adoption across the organization while enhancing risk management and compliance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Generative AI and machine learning solutions for business use cases within Risk & Compliance Technology.
  • Architect and implement end-to-end AI pipelines, including data ingestion, model development, evaluation, and production deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation to enhance risk, compliance, and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions.
  • Ensure AI solutions adhere to ethical principles, governance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Stay current with AI/ML research and emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation.
  • Support evaluation, piloting, and scaling of new AI/automation capabilities across the enterprise.
Qualifications
  • 8–10 years of experience in machine learning, AI engineering, or data science, with recent focus on Generative AI.
  • Hands-on experience with transformer architectures, LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
  • Solid understanding of transformer architectures, LLMs, embeddings, and vector databases.
  • Experience with AI orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools.
  • Proven ability to design and deploy AI solutions in production environments at scale.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI, model interpretability, and governance frameworks.
  • Experience with DevRev or similar tools is a plus.
  • Background in data visualization and BI tools for AI-driven insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
