Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Logistics Operator to coordinate end-to-end 3PL warehouse operations. You will lead a large, multi-shift team, plan manpower, and monitor performance against SLA/KPIs to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

You’ll maintain inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts and drive process improvements, while aligning with safety, quality and environmental standards. This role is on-site within Cummins’ logistics organization.

Qualifications

Significant experience in logistics or warehousing with 3PL management.
Experience leading large teams and coordinating across functions.
Strong knowledge of inventory control, audits and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end 3PL warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking and dispatch.
Lead and manage a large team of 3PL associates across multiple shifts.
Plan manpower deployment based on workload and priorities.
Monitor 3PL performance against SLA/KPIs and drive improvements.
Ensure inventory accuracy, cycle counting, reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
Drive daily management systems: shift meetings, KPI reviews, and Gemba walks.
Lead audits readiness for IATF 16949, HSEMS, safety and environmental compliance.
