Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day telecom deployment and operations.
• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot systems and infrastructure.
• Manage Linux-based environments and services.
• Work with KVM-based virtualization environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking environments and SDN components.
• Perform SQL database-related operational activities.
• Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across Linux, virtualization, networking.
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders for deployment and operational activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment records.
• Mentor junior resources and share knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of Linux, virtualization, and networking, along with working knowledge of SQL and Bash scripting. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about developing hands‑on technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day telecom deployment and operations activities.
• Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems and infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux‑based environments and associated services.
• Work with KVM‑based virtualization environments, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking environments, including Linux soft switches and software‑defined routers.
• Perform database‑related operational activities using SQL.
• Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation and operational requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across Linux, virtualization, networking, and related environments.
• Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders for deployment and operational activities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, deployment records, configurations, and operational updates.
• Support junior technical resources and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Ensure assigned activities are completed in accordance with technical procedures and operational requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BSc) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in telecom deployment, operations, or a related technical environment.
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• Basic understanding of virtualization technologies.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and fundamentals.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
• Intermediate knowledge of Bash scripting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong willingness to learn and implement new concepts.
• Ability and enthusiasm for independent and continuous learning.
• Candidates must be based in Islamabad or willing to relocate to Islamabad.

Preferred Skills

• Previous exposure to telecom deployment and operations.
• Hands‑on exposure to Linux, virtualization, networking, SQL, or Bash.
• CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent), or virtualization certifications are an added advantage but not mandatory.
