Job summary

A reputable Karachi-based company is seeking a Junior Management Position in Procurement & Services. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience, preferably in a large organization, with strong educational qualifications. About the job: JUNIOR MANAGEMENT POSITION - PROCUREMENT & SERVICES

Our Client, a Karachi based company seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following positions:

Job Role

Responsible for executing the procurement process in a fair, transparent, and economical manner, in strict adherence to Company policies, statutory obligations, and PPRA regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute procurement processes and activities in a timely, fair, and transparent manner to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness of specifications, scope of work, and company requirements
  • Support the evaluation of supplier capabilities and assist in cost avoidance to achieve value for money and long-term cost efficiency
  • Monitor assigned objectives, act proactively, and ensure their timely achievement in line with management directives
  • Review and process assigned purchase requisitions, ensuring maximum competition, compliance with PPRA Rules, and adherence to approved specifications and terms
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, regulatory requirements, and PPRA Rules at each stage of the procurement process, obtaining required approvals
  • Assist in maintaining strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliability and service quality
  • Monitor procurement budgets and support initiatives that promote cost efficiency and long-term savings
  • Maintain close coordination with user departments to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of technical evaluations in line with procurement timelines
  • Analyze procurement data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced efficiency
  • Perform any other related duties or responsibilities assigned by management from time to time
Education
  • Minimum 16 years of education, preferably Masters from a renowned and HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder institution, in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a large national/multinational organization among which 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position.
Requirements
  • Review, compare, and analyze quotations and proposals to support procurement decisions for products and services
  • Assist in managing inventory levels and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
  • Ensure that procured goods and services meet required quality and specification standards
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete assigned procurement activities efficiently and effectively
