Contour Software Pvt Ltd is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to support corporate-level accounting for a growing global software portfolio. You will prepare financial reports, analyze income statements and balance sheets, and assist with quarter-end close and intercompany reconciliations.

You will collaborate with the corporate finance team, handling ad hoc analyses and ensuring accuracy while adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• A degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (e.g., BBA, BComm).
• CPA designation, or progress toward one, is a strong asset.
• 1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial reporting experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to respond professionally to changing priorities and ad hoc requests.
• Clear, confident communication skills and a proven ability to work with all levels of management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial accounting, including journal entries and analysis that ensure timely and accurate reporting of results
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including intercompany reconciliations
• Assist with the consolidation process across our portfolio companies, including monthly updates and quarterly revisions to the annual financial statements
• Review business unit reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
• Track and report on the key performance indicators leadership uses to run the business
• Partner with finance leaders across the group, building relationships and learning how different software businesses operate
• Help prepare interim and year-end working papers for financial and tax audits
• Take on ad hoc analysis for management, seeing first-hand how financial insight shapes real business decisions
