Job summary

IRC Dairy Products (Pvt.) Limited seeks an Assistant Officer EHS to support the development and upkeep of environmental, health, and safety programs. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident reporting to promote a safe workplace.

The position is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience who wish to grow a career in Environmental Health & Safety Management.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
• Education in Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or Engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support safety management system implementation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHA, and factory regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Assist in health and safety training, drills, and awareness campaigns.
• Document incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS data, reports, and records; coordinate with departments and external agencies.
• Support investigations of accidents and incidents; assist with preventive actions.
• Stay updated on EHS legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Use MS Office and ERP systems for reporting and data management.
