Job summary

Translation Empire PK in Pakistan is seeking a .NET developer to upgrade existing websites and applications using MVC/Core and microservices. You will work with Vue.js or other JS frameworks for frontend, and implement REST APIs with EF/ADO.NET on SQL Server.

Applicants should have 2+ years in .NET, strong C#, OOP, and Git, plus experience with Postman for API testing. This is an office-based role with a typical 10am–7pm shift in DHA 1 Sector F, Rawalpindi.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of .NET development experience (MVC / Core).
• Proficient in at least one .NET language (C# or VB.NET).
• Familiar with Entity Framework and ADO.NET.
• Strong OOP and design pattern knowledge.
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, Axios.
• Experience with Vue.js or React/Angular is a plus.
• REST API development and MS SQL Server familiarity.
• Version control experience (Git or TFS) and Postman for API testing.

Responsibilities

• Upgrading existing .NET websites and applications
• Must have experience in .Net Core, MVC, Micro services, Entity Framework, Vue JS (or other JS frameworks like React or Angular)
• Previous experience of working in Oauth 2.0, JWT Authentication, Onion Architecture, Hangfire and CQRS Pattern is a PLUS
• Analyzing system requirements and delegating development tasks
• Writing scalable code for .NET software applications
• Reviewing and debugging .NET applications
• Drafting software and application operating procedures
• Delivering the tasks assigned by Senior NET developers within specified timeframe

Requirements & Skills

• 2+ years of experience with .NET development (MVC / Core)
• Proficient in at least one .NET language (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET)
• Familiarity with Entity Framework and ADO.NET for database interaction
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
• Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, and Axios for client-side development
• Basic understanding of front-end frameworks like Angular or Vue.js (exposure or training is sufficient)
• Understanding of REST API development
• Experience with T-SQL Programming and database design in MS SQL Server
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) or TFS (Team Foundation Server)
• Exposure to issue-tracking tools such as JIRA
• Awareness of ASP.NET Web Forms development
• An understanding of Twilio programmable communication APIs is a plus
