Cordatus Resource Group is a Pakistan-based BPO and consulting firm offering outsourced accounting, finance, IT, and administrative services. The Junior Accountant supports clients remotely and communicates with U.S.-based clients. This full-time role operates during U.S. business hours from Pakistan.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, experience with cloud accounting systems, and proficiency in MS Excel. Fully remote, candidates must reside in Pakistan.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or equivalent from a reputed university, or ACCA Part-Qualified or BSc/BS in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals.
• Skilled in using accounting software and cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Fluent written and spoken English for effective communication with U.S. clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the internal team to provide accounting support for Cordatus clients, including A/P & A/R, bank and credit card reconciliations, and preparation of periodic financial statements.
• Enter invoices and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness and compliance across accounting platforms.

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Cordatus Resource Group is a business process outsourcing (BPO) and consulting firm specializing in outsourced accounting, finance, IT, and administrative services. We primarily support U.S.-based clients and operate with a fully remote workforce. Our teams collaborate using secure, cloud-based SaaS platforms to deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant services.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our clients' accounting operations. The selected candidate will work closely with the internal team and communicate regularly with U.S.-based clients in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the internal team to provide accounting support for Cordatus clients, including:
  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (A/P & A/R)
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Preparation of periodic financial statements
• Enter invoices and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
• Work within accounting platforms to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Communicate with clients via Zoom and Microsoft Teams
• Respond to customer and internal queries through email, Slack, and MS Teams live chat
• Support the Team Manager with additional accounting and administrative tasks as required

Job Specifications / Requirements

• Education:
  • MBA (Finance) from a reputed university, OR
  • ACCA (Part-Qualified), OR
  • BSc/BS in Finance or Accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals
• Skilled in using accounting software and cloud-based accounting systems (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms; prior hands-on experience preferred)
• Comfortable working with SaaS tools and learning new systems as required
• Fluent written and spoken English for effective communication with U.S. clients
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and other MS Office applications
• Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for video and voice calls
• Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours
  (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pakistan Time, Monday to Friday)
• Fully remote position, open to candidates residing in Pakistan only

Salary & Benefits

Compensation:
PKR 42,000 – 55,000 per month, based on experience and skills.
