Job description

Journal Manager will have to work for at least three (03) years and will be a partner of 40% of the total revenue for each issue. Online training will be provided to selected candidates. The candidate must have a strong research interest and grip on computer and internet browsing. Candidates who have national or international publications will be preferred.

Candidate will be asked to perform the following tasks:

• Process administration and quality control; assess usability (for review purposes).
• Ensure completeness of metadata and e-files (including source files) of submitted and revised manuscripts and, as appropriate, other related files.
• Make manuscripts available to Editors and/or Reviewers.
• Assess usability (for production purposes) and completeness of metadata and e-files of accepted manuscripts and make manuscripts available to authors.
• Prioritize handling of manuscripts according to the Service Level Agreements set per journal.
• Maintenance of people records online.
• Keywords searching using search engines and maintaining the record of the keywords and the search results.
• Communicate by answering or forwarding queries from Authors and Editors to appropriate parties.
• Provide feedback on input quality of content and metadata and supplier performance to relevant parties.
