IOS and iPadOS Developer (Swift + SwiftUI)

Looking for a skilled engineer to transform a prototype into a polished, universal iPhone and iPad app that displays paginated content from a custom file format.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Establish a clean Swift codebase prioritizing SwiftUI, with UIKit where appropriate.
2. Develop a parser for our custom file bundle (similar to ZIP, containing text, images, and metadata).
3. Render pages with smooth scrolling, page flip animations, theme options (light, dark, sepia), and support for Dynamic Type.
4. Implement basic import/export features via the Files app and support drag-and-drop functionality.
5. Ensure heavy tasks like parsing and pagination run off the main thread to maintain UI responsiveness.
6. Regularly push builds to TestFlight (every 1–2 weeks) and participate in review calls.

Must-Haves:

• Over 3 years of paid iOS development experience using Swift 5.x, with at least one app available on TestFlight or the App Store.
• Strong understanding of SwiftUI, Combine, and the scene-based app lifecycle.
• Experience with TextKit 2 / CoreText for detailed layout control.
• Familiarity with GCD / Swift Concurrency for thread management.
• Ability to read and write structured/binary formats like ZIP, protobuf, or custom JSON.
