Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a store department.
• Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, preferably with inventory/store management systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ability to work effectively with internal departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day store activities, including receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and other relevant documents.
• Ensure proper inspection, counting, and recording of received items.
• Issue materials to authorized departments against approved requisitions.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure timely updating of inventory transactions.
• Arrange and store materials systematically to ensure proper identification and easy retrieval.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excesses, damaged, or expired items to the supervisor.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and assist in stock reconciliation.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in accordance with organizational procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the store.
• Prepare and maintain relevant store documentation and records.
• Coordinate with relevant departments regarding material requirements, receiving, and issuance.
• Perform any other store-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
