Job summary

A leading oil and gas company is seeking a candidate for an internal audit role. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in external or internal audit and possess CA (Inter), ACMA, or CMA Finalist qualifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. Responsibilities include risk assessment, implementing audit practices, and ensuring timely reporting. Travel to various fields will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 02 years of experience in external/internal audit.
• Accreditation with the Institute of Internal Auditors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
• Implement best audit practices in line with internal audit statements.
• Develop and maintain internal audit policies and procedures.
• Compile and implement the annual Internal Audit plan.
• Conduct investigations into identified risks.
• Oversee risk-based audits covering operational and financial processes.
• Ensure accurate audit information is reported to Management.
• Travel to various fields for completing assignments.
