Job summary

EDGE is seeking an Insurance & Billing Coordinator to join our administrative team for a growing pediatric practice. You will own accounts receivable, Medicaid postings, claim denials, and prior authorizations, interacting with patient families and staff to reduce bottlenecks.

Based in Lahore or Islamabad, you will coordinate with US time zones and use Dentrix (G7/Server) and Dental Intel to streamline collections, verify insurance, and ensure accurate billing for in-network and out-of-network

Qualifications

• Must be located in Islamabad or Lahore, Pakistan.
• Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience handling US dental billing, Medicaid postings, out-of-network patient portions, and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Process Medicaid check postings into patient charts and resolve denials.
• Handle pre-authorizations for hospital and IV sedation cases.
• Post daily EFT payments, send secondary claims, manage patient statements, and clean backlog AR (>90 days).
• Flag outstanding balances and arrange collections/payment plans.
• Submit daily end-of-day reports of deposits, postings, and collections.
• Verify insurance, answer coverage questions, and assist families with out-of-network questions.

About the Role

This is a position for a growing pediatric practice serving 50-55 patients daily. As the practice's dedicated Insurance and Billing Coordinator, you will eliminate administrative bottlenecks by taking complete ownership of accounts receivable, Medicaid check postings, claim denial management, and prior authorizations.

You will act as an extended team member in an out-of-network environment, directly supporting the Office Manager and clinical staff while interacting warmly with patient families.

Key Responsibilities

• Process complex weekly Medicaid check postings into patient charts. Track secondary claims and resolve Medicaid denials, particularly for hospital and IV sedation procedures.
• Handle high-priority insurance pre-authorizations for hospital and IV sedation cases to prevent coverage delays.
• Post daily EFT payments, send secondary claims, manage patient payment tables, issue paper/digital statements, and actively clean backlog AR reports (>90 days).
• Utilize Dental Intel to flag outstanding patient balances and secure collections/payment plans prior to patient appointments.
• Compile and submit a daily end-of-day report tracking all daily deposits, postings, and collections.
• Retrieve voicemails, follow up on missed appointments, manage cancellations, perform insurance verifications, and guide parents through out-of-network coverage questions.
• Reach out to uncare families, collect intake details, and ensure complete administrative preparation in Dentrix.

Requirements

• Must be located in Islamabad or Lahore, Pakistan
• Must have fluent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Flexibility to work across different US time zones based on practice needs.
• Practical experience using Dentrix (G7/Server) and Dental Intel is strongly preferred.
• Proven background handling US dental billing, Medicaid check posting, out-of-network patient portions, and prior authorizations.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to thrive independently without constant supervision.
