Job summary

Steh in Pakistan seeks a skilled maintenance technician to perform installation, repair and routine maintenance of facility equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, and to support the maintenance department.

You will follow safety rules, use PPE, read schematics, operate forklift, and handle hazardous waste protocols; must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and work at heights. Willingness to overtime and provide own tools.

Qualifications

Requires technical school training and/or comparable experience in electrical field.
Must be able to read and understand schematic drawings.
Knowledge of hazardous waste handling procedures and government regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform major installation, repair and maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems following instructions and standards.
Ensure equipment is repaired to meet safety standards.
Provide general maintenance department assistance and be a team player.
Detect and report faulty operations, materials and working conditions to supervisor.
Use safety equipment and follow safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas and tools; ensure proper cleanup after repair.
Cross-train as required and contribute to ongoing maintenance activities.
Promote 5S practices to sustain high cleanliness and safety in shop and facility.
Comply with health and safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
