Job summary

The Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy seeks a Litigation advocate who will be the face of the organization for beneficiaries seeking legal representation and aid. The role handles cases before courts and ensures diligence and commitment to justice, with regular jail visits under supervision.

You will maintain daily case records, compile monthly and quarterly reports, coordinate with the Program Supervisor, and guide paralegals to support prosecutions or defenses in challenging conditions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of criminal and civil procedures and laws.
• Proficiency in drafting applications and records.
• English reading/writing for reports; Sindhi/Urdu helpful.

Responsibilities

• Follow established litigation checklists to document case information.
• Prepare and maintain complete case files and supporting documents.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports; conduct jail visits per rosters.
• Report to relevant courts on time and update case files; coordinate with Program Supervisor.
• Provide guidance to paralegals or legal assistants involved in prosecutions or defenses.
