Job summary

HR Ways in Karachi is seeking a reliable SysOps Engineer to support our hybrid operations. You will manage AWS services, backend APIs, and integrations with trading platforms, CRMs, and payment processors. The role requires strong communication with internal teams and external providers.

The position offers a hybrid work model with one WFH day per week and is based in Gulshan-E-Iqbal, Karachi. Previous FinTech/RegTech exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in SysOps, DevOps or infrastructure operations.
• Strong AWS experience, especially RDS, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
• Experience building and securing backend APIs.
• Understanding of frontend/backend connectivity.
• Experience with domain and DNS management via Cloudflare.
• Experience with SMTP/email delivery services such as SendGrid.
• Experience with third-party integrations (trading platforms, CRM, payment processors).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the AWS environment including RDS, S3, Lambda, and IAM policies.
• Build, secure, and maintain backend APIs.
• Ensure connectivity between backend APIs and frontend application.
• Manage DNS configurations and security via Cloudflare.
• Support domain transitions and ongoing domain management.
• Handle WordPress page redirections and maintenance.
• Maintain integration layer between frontend and backend APIs.
• Serve as technical contact for third-party trading platforms, CRMs, and payment processors.
• Configure and monitor data flow between external platforms and internal systems.
• Manage and optimise SMTP services through SendGrid for reliable email delivery.
• Communicate clearly with the Director, internal teams and external providers.
