Job summary

PsychPlus in Pakistan is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our healthcare technology team in a hybrid role. The position balances manual testing and automation to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance of our software products used by clinicians.

You will review requirements, create test plans, implement automation, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Experience with EHRs, Playwright, REST API testing, and SQL is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of software testing experience (manual + automation).
• Experience with EHR systems (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Availability to work US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing to ensure stability of existing features.
• Validate compliance with Electronic Health Record (EHR) standards and usability requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define testing strategies.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product quality.
• Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts.
• Build scalable and reusable automation libraries and components.
• Execute automated test suites for functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Perform API testing for RESTful services.
• Contribute to improving automation practices, tools, and frameworks.

ResponsibilitiesManual QA (50%)

• Review software requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases
• Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance
