Job summary

Pakistan Agriculture Research (PAR) is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to test backend services, frontend apps, and cloud configurations in secure Azure environments. You will own QA end-to-end with strong English communication and autonomy, building the function from scratch.

You will work with US stakeholders, implement test automation, and drive release validation across Dev and Prod while shaping QA processes and standards.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of QA experience for backend and frontend testing.
• Hands-on test automation with API and UI; capable of building automation frameworks.
• Experience as sole or first QA, building a QA function from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans, cases, and regression suites for APIs, DB logic, and UI.
• Automate tests for API and UI; integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Validate deployments across Dev/Prod; manage environment configs and feature flags.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders; document quality status clearly.
