Job summary

Kacific Broadband Satellites Limited is looking for a Platform System Engineer responsible for the performance, security, and scalability of the company’s core platform infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. This role requires a blend of systems engineering, automation, and operational excellence to ensure optimal service delivery.

The suitable candidate should have strong technical skills and experience in managing Linux based platforms, virtualization, and cloud resources while adhering to compliance and security standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technology operations as a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Proven experience operating and supporting mission-critical production systems.
• Hands-on experience designing automation solutions using provisioning tools, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
• Provide operational engineering support to ensure stable services across production environments.
• Develop automation workflows to manage infrastructure, services, and applications efficiently.

Skills

Automation solutions design

Monitoring systems (PRTG, Grafana, Prometheus, Graylog)

Scripting (Bash and Python)

Infrastructure-as-Code tools (SaltStack, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible)
