A leading company in the energy sector is seeking an HR Manager to oversee recruitment and manage employee relations in Lahore. The successful candidate will implement HR strategies, ensure compliance with labor laws, and enhance employee engagement. Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Human Resource Management and proven experience in HR management.
1. Talent Acquisition
Oversee the company’s recruitment efforts in Pakistan. Develop and implement effective hiring strategies based on departmental needs;
Expand and manage diversified recruitment channels, including job portals, social media, campus recruitment, and headhunter partnerships;
Take full responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process: job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, offer issuance, and onboarding procedures;
Establish and maintain a talent pool for workforce planning and long-term organizational development.
2. HR System Development & Compliance Management
Be familiar with Pakistani labor laws, tax policies, and social security systems to develop a compliant HR management framework;
Design and implement HR systems including employment contract management, attendance and leave policies, compensation and benefits structure, and employee relations policies;
Regularly review and optimize HR policies and processes, and maintain active communication with local labor authorities and legal advisors to mitigate legal risks.
3. Employee Relations Management
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, engagement, performance communication, and exit interviews;
Establish clear communication channels to enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty;
Handle employee complaints, conflicts, and labor disputes professionally to protect both the company’s image and employees’ legal rights.
4. Recruitment Forecasting & Workforce Planning
Conduct workforce demand forecasts based on business development, turnover rates, and strategic goals;
Continuously evaluate and adjust recruitment plans to ensure alignment with actual organizational needs.
5. Performance Management
Assist in designing and implementing a performance evaluation system with clear KPIs and fair assessment criteria;
Organize and monitor performance appraisal processes and collect feedback for use in compensation adjustment, promotion, and development planning;
Support employees through performance coaching and improvement plans to facilitate mutual growth for both the individual and the organization.
Job Specification:Education: Master’s degree or above in Human Resource Management, Labor Relations, Labor Law, or a related field;
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an HR Manager;
Professional Skills:
Strong knowledge of all HR functional areas, with proven experience in designing and implementing HR systems from the ground up;
Proficiency in Pakistani labor law and HR compliance, with the ability to independently build locally compliant HR frameworks;
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; capable of analyzing HR data and producing decision-support reports;
Core Competencies:
Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and adapt to a changing environment;
Strong communication, coordination, and team leadership skills;
Fluent in English.
