EON Health seeks a Data Engineer to design and maintain data infrastructure powering health platforms, handling clinical records, claims, and real‑time streams with HIPAA‑compliant, scalable solutions.

Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, clinicians, and engineers to deliver reliable data solutions, build robust ETL pipelines, and optimize cloud warehouses on AWS/Snowflake.

Formación

• 2–4 years of experience in a Data Engineering role, preferably in a healthcare, biotech, or life sciences environment.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large‑scale relational databases.
• Proficiency in Python (or similar language) for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure) and data tools like Airflow, dbt, or similar.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehouse design, and data integration patterns.
• Understanding of healthcare data formats and standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, FHIR, HL7) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with data privacy, security protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and standardizing healthcare data from diverse sources (EHRs, wearable devices, claims).
• Ensure data quality, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
• Work cross‑functionally with product managers, data scientists, clinical experts, and software engineers to deliver data solutions that support analytics and decision‑making.
• Develop and optimize cloud‑based data infrastructure and warehouses (e.g., AWS RDS, Snowflake).
• Maintain secure, scalable, and well‑documented data models for internal and external use.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve data reliability and availability.
• Stay up to date with data engineering best practices and evolving healthcare data standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7).
