Position Overview
As the Head of Delivery (Projects) at AHOY, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of all projects within the organization. You will lead the project management team, drive project timelines, and ensure that deliverables meet both client expectations and company standards. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation, empowering teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance and support to enable them to achieve project objectives and professional growth.
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, best practices, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to facilitate open communication and address project challenges.
- Monitor and report on project performance, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruption to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading complex projects to successful completion.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in managing project budgets and resource allocation effectively.
- Proven ability to navigate and lead through change, adapting to evolving business needs.
