Job summary

Al Rehman Developers is seeking an experienced Head of Construction Department (HOD) to lead our construction operations for residential and commercial projects. You will drive strategic planning, team leadership, and rigorous project execution across multiple sites to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 10–12 years of hands-on construction experience, strong leadership, and expertise in ERP and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 10–12 years of proven experience in Building Construction and High-Rise Development Projects.
• Senior leadership experience (Senior Construction Manager / Head of Construction Department) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools, ERP systems, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire construction department and project execution strategy.
• Develop schedules, milestones, and execution plans to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Oversee site operations, resource planning, and productivity across multiple sites.
• Monitor costs, approve requisitions, and prepare progress reports for management.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors; ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure QA and safety compliance; enforce health and safety regulations on sites.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development for the construction team.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless project execution.
