Job summary

Linkers International is seeking a General Manager to lead our civil engineering and construction portfolios. You will drive project planning, ensure world-class quality and safety across sites, and oversee budgets, resources, and vendor relations.

Requirements include a BE/BSc in Civil Engineering with PEC registration, 14–15 years in civil construction, and 5–7 years in leadership roles. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic, General Manager to lead our high-value engineering and construction portfolios. You will spearhead strategic project planning, and ensure world-class quality andsafety standards across all sites.

• Drive the full lifecycle execution of medium and large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure projects from inception to closeout.
• Direct teams, and contractors to guarantee on-time delivery within strict financial parameters.
• Formulate engineering strategies, corporate policies, and QA/QC benchmarks to optimize operational efficiency.
• Control project budgets, cash flows, and resource allocation to maximize profitability an minimize waste.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage vendor relationships utilizing standard FIDIC and PEC contract guidelines.
• Represent the organization in high-level discussions with corporate clients, joint venture partners, and government ministries.
• Enforce absolute compliance with international HSE standards to maintain safe, hazard-free project sites.
• Hold at least a BE or BSc degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university,
• Maintain active professional registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Bring 14 to 15 years of progressive civil construction experience, including a minimum of 5 to 7 years in an leadership role.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure or commercial mega-projects.
• Possess advanced expertise in project controls
• Exhibit strong financial acumen coupled with exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
