Job summary

Charm Connect is seeking a Head Chef for our Gujrat, India restaurant. You will oversee kitchen operations, lead a team of chefs, and bring creativity to menu development while ensuring quality and consistency.

The role requires at least 5 years as Head Chef, deep knowledge of Indian cuisine, strong leadership, inventory and budget control, and strict adherence to food safety standards. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Head Chef or Executive Chef.
• Proficient knowledge of Indian cuisine with ability to create unique dishes.
• Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and create budgets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create menus showcasing Indian cuisine with international flavors.
• Manage inventory and ensure fresh ingredients within budget.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards.
• Oversee cooking process to ensure recipes align with standards.
• Monitor food quality and adjust to maintain consistency.
• Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, pricing strategies.
