Job summary

ImagineArt is expanding its commercial presence and seeks a backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable services using Go and PostgreSQL. You will work on cutting-edge, high-performance systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust microservices in a fast-growing GenAI environment.

You should be comfortable with C/C++ system-level concepts and contribute to architecture while mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of backend or systems development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Extensive PostgreSQL experience (schema design, performance tuning, advanced queries).
• Strong understanding of C or C++ and system-level programming.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems or microservices.
• Familiarity with concurrency models, memory management, and networking concepts.
• Builder mindset, proactive and self-driven.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Go.
• Develop efficient, reliable, high-performance solutions that meet product and business requirements.
• Work with relational database schemas and optimize queries using PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, maintainable systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code and documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
• Contribute innovative ideas, improvements, and best-practice solutions to the team.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.
