Position Summary
The GM Operations / COO leads overall operational execution and performance across the business, ensuring effective coordination of Finance, HR, Sales, Procurement, Logistics, IT, Warehouse and Branch Operations — while driving growth, profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

- Overall business operations and departmental coordination
- Financial planning, budgeting and working capital management

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic: Develop and execute business strategy, drive revenue/profitability growth, review performance and lead improvement initiatives.
- Operational: Ensure smooth cross-departmental functioning, improve productivity and controls, ensure timely delivery on customer/business commitments.
- Management: Lead department heads, monitor targets, build an accountable, performance-driven culture.
Functional Responsibilities
- Finance & Accounts: Budgeting, profitability, cash flow, cost control, audit and statutory compliance
- HR & Administration: Manpower planning, recruitment, training, HR policy and performance management
- Sales & Marketing: Sales strategy, dealer network, project sales, customer satisfaction
- Import & Procurement: Supplier management, import scheduling, landed cost, regulatory compliance
- Logistics & Distribution: Timely, cost-effective delivery; cross-functional coordination
- IT: ERP/MIS utilization, automation, digital transformation, data security
- Warehouse & Inventory: Stock accuracy, storage efficiency, control of slow-moving/obsolete stock
- Branch Operations: Performance, expenses, service standards, policy compliance
Leadership & Strategic Responsibilities
Lead department heads, build a performance culture, support business expansion, and develop management capability and succession planning.
Risk Management & Internal Controls
Manage financial, operational and supply chain risks; enforce SOPs and policies; ensure regulatory compliance; protect company assets and reputation; coordinate audits.

Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / CA / ACCA / ACMA / Engineering or equivalent
- 15+ years of progressive management experience
- 5+ years in senior leadership
- Experience in import, distribution, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing or Solar preferred
