Job summary

National Foods Limited in Karachi is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Planner to ensure material availability and aligned production across local and export operations. You will drive MRP in SAP, develop MPS, and coordinate with procurement and manufacturing to support growth.

The role emphasizes optimized inventory, proactive risk management, and data-driven planning, with exposure to Toll Manufacturing, NPD launches, and international shipments.

Qualifications

• Masters in relevant field.
• 8-10 years of experience in supply chain/production planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) in SAP to ensure raw and packaging material availability for seamless production.
• Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS), aligning it with demand, plant capacity, and inventory targets.
• Optimize inventory levels by implementing Days of Coverage (DoC) and safety stock strategies, minimizing waste and stockouts.
• Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely inbound material flow, reducing lead time risks.
• Identify potential capacity constraints and proactively collaborate with Operations to mitigate bottlenecks.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) and Consumer Promotion launches, ensuring material availability and production feasibility.
• Analyze demand forecasts vs. production plans using SAP data, translating insights into SKU-wise reports.
