Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc seeks a Global Sanctions Technology Executive to own the strategy, delivery, and modernization of Name Screening and Transaction Screening within GPS. You will lead ~200 colleagues and partners, driving a Screening-as-a-Service vision across 48 markets with end-to-end technology accountability.

You will guide architecture, data, observability, and automation while ensuring regulatory and risk governance, resilience, and sustainable delivery in a global payments context.

Qualifications

• Senior technology and platform-delivery leadership experience in global payments or regulated domains.
• Delivery of multi-year transformation across regions, platforms and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of screening, list management and regulatory controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year sanctions tech strategy and roadmap across Name and Transaction Screening.
• Lead modernisation to deliver high-throughput, real-time capabilities with regional segregation.
• Establish secure, scalable patterns across cloud/hybrid deployment and automation.
• Govern data, AI capabilities, testing, observability and release readiness.
• Ensure production readiness, resilience, and risk-governed operations.
• Lead globally distributed teams with strong stakeholder influence.
