Wise is seeking a FinCrime Operations Team Lead - Sanctions to develop and oversee a team of Analysts and Specialists. You will ensure effective mitigation of financial crime risks while maintaining regulatory compliance and a customer-centric approach.

This role combines people leadership with domain expertise in KYC/AML, screening and fraud prevention. You will drive process improvements, manage performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver compliant and scalable operations.

Formación

• Lead and develop FinCrime Analysts or Specialists.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.
• Drive performance and quality improvements in processes.
• Coach teams and set SMART development goals.
• Oversee case reviews, escalations and investigations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead by example to build a high-performing FinCrime team.
• Coach and mentor team members to support growth and performance.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring policy adherence and efficiency.
• Measure KPIs and drive high-quality outcomes for individuals and teams.
• Share expertise in financial crime to improve processes and training.
• Escalate tooling or process issues with leadership.
• Plan and drive team performance and remove blockers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate progress clearly.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and internal events as needed.
