Job summary

Aga Khan University seeks a Research Associate within the Institute for Global Health and Development. This grant-funded contract role focuses on supervising data collection, coordinating study activities, and contributing to publications.

The incumbent will work with stakeholders, review literature, and help develop proposals while mentoring junior staff. Requirements include MBBS or a 16-year equivalent in Public Health/Social Sciences/Environmental Sciences, 1–2 years of community work

Qualifications

MBBS or 16 years of education in Public Health/Social Sciences/Environmental Sciences.
Experience or exposure to community-based research is preferable.
Strong written and spoken English and Sindhi communication.

Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor all project activities including data collection and analysis.
Coordinate with the team to ensure protocol adherence and timely completion.
Review literature related to the assigned topic and assist in proposal development.
Liaise with granting agencies and stakeholders for project operations.
Evaluate data quality and perform qualitative and quantitative analyses.
Develop data collection tools and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.
Prepare weekly progress reports and project activity reports.
Train and mentor junior staff and support task assignments by the supervisor.
