You will lead a finance team, implement strong internal controls, coordinate with auditors, and provide clear financial insights to leadership for decision making.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in long-term financial planning, forecasting and regulatory tax compliance.
• Experience managing end-to-end financial operations.

Role Description

The General Manager Finance is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad, responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Mustafa Developers. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading comprehensive financial planning and budgeting, developing strategic tax management strategies, ensuring tax compliance, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and maintaining accurate accounting records. The role involves implementing and monitoring internal controls, managing cash flow, and overseeing compliance with relevant financial regulations and statutory reporting requirements. The General Manager Finance will collaborate with leadership on strategic financial decisions, conduct project cost analysis and profitability reviews, and provide clear financial insights to guide business growth. This position also includes leading and mentoring finance staff, coordinating with external auditors, and optimizing financial processes to support the company’s development projects.

Qualifications

• Financial Planning & Taxation (Must-Have): Proven expertise and a strong track record in long-term financial planning, forecasting, strategic tax planning, corporate tax management, and regulatory tax compliance.
• Finance & Accounting Operations: Strong Finance and Accounting skills with experience managing end-to-end financial operations.
• Financial Reporting: Deep expertise in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements to support accurate reporting and executive decision-making.
• Analytical Skills: Solid analytical skills to interpret complex financial data, assess project viability, and support strategic business growth.
• Internal Governance: Thorough knowledge of internal controls to design, implement, and maintain effective financial governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Education & Certifications: Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA, CMA) are strongly preferred.
• Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in real estate, construction, or project-based industries, with familiarity in project budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
• Technical & Ethical Standards: Proficiency in financial software/ERP systems and MS Excel, high attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and the ability to work on-site in Islamabad.
