Job summary

RepairDesk is looking for an experienced backend/frontend engineer in Lahore to help scale our repair shop management software. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build a high-performance, user-friendly platform for single- and multi-store repair businesses.

You will design and implement scalable APIs, write clean code, and participate in code reviews while ensuring security and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend languages (Node.js and PHP).
• Solid experience with frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred).
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and OOD/Database Design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps basics.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to coding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining scalable front-end and back-end applications for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborating with product designers, product managers, and other engineers to build user-friendly, high-performance software.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Writing and implementing comprehensive use cases and test cases for APIs and ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimising existing systems for performance and scalability.
• Participating in code reviews and maintaining quality standards.
• Optimize legacy algorithms to improve performance.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Ensure responsible and secure use of AI, including data privacy and cost optimization.
• Provide regular progress updates to team lead.
