Job summary

Wealth Circle, backed by Apollo Private Wealth, is expanding a small engineering team to own features end-to-end—from data models and APIs to UI and tests. The role emphasizes careful task execution, code reviews, and building robust, scalable systems that touch users' money.

You will extend the marketing site, build product pages, improve forecasting logic, and design secure APIs while integrating with external services. Strong Python, TS/React, and testing discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years building and shipping web apps on backend and frontend.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong Python and at least one backend framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask, Rails).
• Strong TypeScript and React; Next.js a plus.
• Proficient SQL design and query writing; detect an N+1 problem.
• Experience with ORMs is a plus.
• Writes automated tests as part of the workflow.
• Experience building features that call LLM APIs.
• Familiar with using AI coding assistants and reviewing their output.

Responsibilities

• Extend the marketing website with fast, accessible pages.
• Build product pages end to end from concept to release.
• Extend the forecast engine with scalable improvements.
• Design APIs and data models that scale securely.
• Extend the AI assistant with new capabilities.
• Integrate third-party services and monitor them.
• Maintain a healthy codebase with reviews and debt management.
